Brief:
Returning for a second consecutive year, Sculpted by Aimee came to Backlash to create a standout brand activation that would engage customers, drive product sales, and generate excitement around the brand. The objective was to deliver an experience that reflected Sculpted by Aimee's vibrant personality while creating meaningful interactions with its growing community across Dublin and London.
Solution.
Backlash developed ‘Sculpted At Your Service’, a service station-inspired pop-up experience designed to transform the traditional beauty retail journey into an immersive brand moment.
To further drive engagement, visitors received exclusive branded merchandise, including customised hats and keyrings, alongside interactive scratch cards that unlocked special discounts. Every element was carefully designed to create an experience that felt like a natural extension of the Sculpted by Aimee brand - fun, approachable, and community-focused.
The activation featured custom service pump makeup stations where customers could receive personalised shade matches, a dedicated retail space for product exploration and purchase, and a highly shareable "Mirror Check" photo moment.
At the heart of the experience in London was Lola, a personalised pink car that served as a social media highlight. Lola attracted attention throughout the event and quickly became a customer favourite.
Results.
The activation welcomed thousands of customers each day across both locations, delivering personalised shade-matching experiences and creating multiple opportunities for customers to engage directly with the brand.
