Brief:
Founded by celebrated makeup artist Aimee Connolly, Sculpted by Aimee is passionate about creating high-quality, multi-use products that help you feel like the best version of yourself. The brand believes in being good to your skin and is proudly cruelty-free, ensuring every ingredient contributes to your inner glow - For this brief, Sculpted by Aimee were looking to create an experiential concept that was uniquely ownable by the brand and to build awareness by reaching multiple cities around Ireland and the UK to engage with its existing communities plus also win over new fans. The focus was on its award winning Complexion products and how this range can create the perfect base for your everyday makeup routine. The experience needed to have a highly themed customer experience with many social content moments, operationally able to deliver colour matching experience to as many guests as possible and a promotional hook to drive attendance and convert new customers into the range.
Solution.
Based on the insight that a staggering 80% of people wear the wrong foundation shade and formula, the Base Camp tackled this common beauty dilemma head-on. The tourable pop-up consumer experience was designed to help guests discover their perfect match and remove the confusion of finding your perfect base - The Base Camp experience featured expert shade matching and Complexion Heroes range with discovery of the skin tints and lightweight formulas.
The promotional mechanic ‘Trade Your Base’ asked the public to swap your unwanted, mismatched foundation from any brand for a perfectly matched Sculpted base. In addition the first 50 visitors in each city received exclusive Sculpted merch plus through a data collection mechanic and one lucky winner could win a year’s supply of Sculpted products. The Base Camp also featured multiple themed photo moments for fans to share their experience on socials.
