Brief.
Charlotte Tilbury wanted to create an immersive photobooth experience that would help drive footfall to their new Carnaby Street flagship store during the festive season.
Solution.
Backlash collaborated with Charlotte Tilbury to create the Beauty Wishes photobooth, a magical moment where guests could make their beauty dreams come true. The immersive experience invited guests to step into the spotlight and become the new Charlotte Tilbury ‘Star’, dancing along to the brand’s festive film featuring the iconic Céline Dion and capturing their very own star moment to share on social media.
The photobooth was sited on a secret activation space that is rarely used and not widely known about. Located on the corner of Carnaby and Broadwick Street the location is perfectly placed to engage with Carnaby Street shoppers.
To drive excitement and footfall to the store, guests selected their Beauty Wish star from the photobooth and brought it to the Beauty Wonderland on Carnaby Street to adorn the Christmas tree, receiving a deluxe sample and the chance to win a £300 goodie bag.
Results.
A 5-day activation on Carnaby Street in London attracted strong footfall, with 1,110 guests taking part in the photobooth experience, driving engagement and creating memorable, shareable moments for the brand.
