Brief.

To launch Clarins’ new Double Serum Foundation, the brand wanted to activate with impact and position the product as sophisticated, aspirational and premium to drive awareness and trial while delivering an engaging, highly shareable and fun consumer moment.

Solution.

We created The Radiance Studio, a high-impact experiential pop-up, inspired by the glow-enhancing power of the Double Serum Foundation, that travelled across three major UK cities.

Designed as a destination for discovery, the focus of the pop-up was a shade-matching area led by expert Clarins Beauty Coaches, where consumers were guided through a personalised consultation to find their perfect match from the 37 shades.

Built with social sharing in mind, the pop-up blended Clarins’ skincare expertise with experiential design through interactive touchpoints, product discovery moments and illuminated displays that highlighted the radiant finish of the Double Serum Foundation.

The space also featured the Glow Finder Game, an illuminated, curved golden installation powered by custom-built digital technology. Guests could press a button to “dial up their glow”, triggering one of the doors to open at random and reveal a Clarins prize product, dramatically illuminated with warm downlighting. A photobooth, equipped with flattering lighting to “reveal their radiance.”.

Results.

1,299 shade matches delivered, with 76% of participants new to the brand, driving a 52% sales uplift across nearby retailers.
